The layers of being a human being is truly one of the fascinating things to me. We as people are filled with enchantment, power, creativity, and many other wonders that I can speak on for hours on end. Today I want to speak about the subconscious mind, and how magnificent it really is in the process that is your life.

What Is The Subconscious

The subconscious is the part in your mind that is working without any conscious thought. An example would be your heart beating, the breathing that you are doing, even food digestion all happens at the subconscious level. Are habits are even implemented at a subconscious level. Have you ever done something without even really thinking about it? Some habits that we do are so rooted in us that people may feel they are a part of us, and cannot be changed.

The truth is we can change the habits that we have, and we can actually do it rather quickly. It does come down to following a process and putting it together correctly, and it definitely has to do with subconscious programming as well.

Power Of Thought

It seems like an easy solution to say you will be what you think in life. If you think it you become it. The process is a bit more than that though. Remember are brains can be quite tricky, and if you try to believe in something you honestly do not believe to be true, you will sabotage that belief every time.

You must be able to commit to your belief whole heatedly to make it come to fruition. Forcing a belief that you do not hold as true will only strengthen the subconscious action of the reality you always have.

So how do you deal with a dilemma like this one? Pretending does not help and you cannot trick the subconscious into a reality you do not believe.

Here is a thought though. Be completely honest with yourself. Allow yourself to express its doubts. It doesn’t mean you have to validate them, but acknowledge that they are there.

Solutions

The subconscious is an amazing piece of the overall structure of what is you. It does all the work in the background. All you have to do is to allow it to do it.

Back to questioning and expressing your doubts. Let’s play a game! Have you ever heard the term “when pigs fly?” It is a term used to state that something is impossible. So start with going there, logically let the mind process how crazy it is for pigs to fly.

Now for a moment question your logic. Ask yourself could pigs really fly. Then allow yourself to visualize a way pigs might actually be able to fly. It seems a bit nuts, but maybe there is a way that pigs could actually fly. Try taking it a step further and go 100% in. In your mind you know for certain there is a way that pigs can fly! You’re not sure how, but some way somehow you are going to see a pig fly! Think about it for a while and see what you come up with.

Did you see a pig in an airplane flying by chance? Some may have and some may not have, but the subconscious is a muscle just like anything else. The more you practice with it the stronger it gets. If you see solutions it will look for them until it finds one or twenty. That is the strength of the subconscious. The only thing you logically have to do is willingly except that there is a solution somewhere.

This will take practice like anything any life. The more you practice it the better you will get. I like to say the opportunities are in the obstacles. If I am ever unsure of a solution, that’s ok. I know it is in there somewhere. It comes down to me just to look at it. You see it is important to respect the conscious as much as the subconscious. They really do work hand in hand.

Strengthen them both. Give reason to the conscious to believe that it is possible so that the subconscious will go to work for you.

Power And Responsiblity

I realize that sometimes people believe just thinking it and poof you get what you need. Not quite, remember the logic has to understand it too. That is where some work lies. If for example you can only do 20 push-ups and you say I know I can do 75 push-ups, will not magically make that a reality. The work has to be involved to get there. You can see yourself as already doing 75 push-ups, but it will take the combination of knowing it is possible and putting in the work to get there.

You are infinitely powerful. Trust me, I have worked with 100s of clients and helped many of them find success they never knew they had. It takes effort, but anything worth having always does. Just remember it all starts with the things we say to ourselves and the actions that we are willing to take.

Greatness is in you!

If you are looking for more on the subject. I ran into an intresting article that covers it further.  I will provide the link so you can check it out!

Such inspirational thoughts and ideas. Is this maybe what happens “when you sleep on it”, as well? I guess we then let our subconscious work in the background on the problem as well. I would love to get some more suggestions on where to use this technique or mind set. Do you have some examples from real life?

Glad you liked it Miss Momo. Yes the subconscious is always working proving us right in what we can do or cannot do. Another example would be if you felt you were a worthy person, who deserved to be in amazing relationships with people. The subconscious would go to work to prove you right and create circumstances where that was true.

    Dear Clifford,

Thanks a lot for another helpful and informative post. I must say I found your post highly uplifting & educational. I can tell you I have taken some great insights from your post as always.

When I first learned about the subconscious mind I was amazed and it’s an eye-opener for me. Many people are not conscious about their subconscious. The video you embedded is helpful. Indeed, I totally agree with you just by thinking but not believing and not taking the required effort is no use.

Yay, I was thinking the same, pigs flying in the airplane. Wow, focusing on the solutions not on the problem is a great advice and I will start to practice it. You not only discussed the problem but you have provided with helpful solution. You have given me plenty to think about here. This post is so thorough it opened my eyes to all sorts of information I wasn’t aware of!

    Much Success!

Thank you Paul, I am glad you enjoyed the post. I do put a lot of effort into my post as I know the power of people and what they can do when taught correctly. A person with the right thoughts and actions has the power to move mountains if they want!

Thank you for this eye opening, intuition confirming and inspirational article :). I already knew the mind was powerful and I do a fairly good job at focusing and achieving my goals! But I love how you have actually explained, very simply, how others can focus and achieve their goals! With help of the sub conscious :).
