Why this is Important

Since I have been young seeing the real potential each individual has is a real unique experience. I love to see people succeed at what makes them great. The crazy thing is how simple it can be. When you take the necessary steps your success becomes a given in due time.

Watching an a person go from doubt and unawareness to self-belief and acknowledgement is one of the coolest transformation to witness, and honestly some have the doubts and the patterns they have because they have been so conditioned to have them.

I just want to spread the message that you can have the life that you want to have. it might not necessary be the easiest thing to accomplish, but honestly I don’t think you would appreciate the same if it was to easy. That’s no fun right? So lets dive into this and get you to the life you know you were meant to have!

Realizing Patterns

They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result, but the truth is people continue to do this type of actions. Wanting a different result yet doing the same thing.

I will be the first one to say that stopping a pattern can be an extremely difficult task, but if you do not realize the problem is there it becomes and impossible task.

Knowing that you have certain patterns that are keeping you where you are is the start of a new life, because once you realize certain patterns, you can then ask are they keeping me from where I want to go in life, and if they are how do I change them?

Remember this you have greatness in you, even if your habits say different. Habits can always change, but they will only change if you realize that you have them in the first place.

Look into the mirror of yourself

One of the most important steps to take is taking a really good deep look at yourself. Know what you are and realize you are the reason you are where you are at. When you accept something about yourself that you do not like, you have empowered yourself a chance to change it.

So give yourself the chance and look within yourself. See what personal struggles or demons that you have to rise above, to put yourself in the position to be the best version of you. Take the leap and be honest with yourself. I know you can do it!

Remember there is greatness in you this is not a step to judge yourself. It is a step to realize yourself. Once the realization is there you can then take the necessary responsibility to change it.

If you feel you are not responsible for what you do and are just a product of circumstance you hold yourself powerless and unable to make any changes. I am not saying that sometimes difficult things do not come up or that when bad things happen they are your fault, but what I am saying when you learn to take true responsibility of your life and your actions you have handed yourself the opportunity to be empowered and make the steps you need to make to change your situation.

Building New Habits

After you have taking the moment to realize your habits, and you have looked in the mirror to get good and honest with yourself, it is about building new habits.

This can be very difficult if you do not know what you are doing and also if you do not have the right mindset to change the habit. Habits do not change overnight they take time, so it is not something you want to rush but you also don’t want to look so far ahead that you discourage yourself either.

I have a YouTube page and I am actually in the process of making a habit series. It consists of 5 ways to build new habits. It the series I will be talking about the importance of surrounding yourself with the right people, writing down what your goals are, Setting goals you are passionate about reaching, Enjoying the process of building a habit, working within your willpower, and having proper thoughts and words when building new habits.

Knowing the proper steps to take is really 80% of the battle when it comes to building new habits. Never try to build a habit without knowing the steps. That would be like trying to lose weight without not quite knowing the proper steps to get there. Sure you have an idea of how to get there, but not knowing the ends and outs of how the mind is responding and why it is responding a certain way, you just will not get that far.

I would also like to know if anyone has a way they have built a new healthy habit themselves. You could be someone that helps another through the struggles they are dealing with. It would be great if you have any input on the matter. So please feel free to leave it in the comments below.

I hope that you have a blessed day!

I totally agree with you. These are some very good points in order to have a change in your life. I really do believe that first we have to introspect our self in order to know what we want in life, how can we achieve it and how to change our life in order to achieve it. It is only the person himself who knows what he wants and what are the things he needs to change in himself in order to achieve his goals, no-one can tell him this thing.
Thanks a-lot for this lovely post. This helped me to clear many things in my mind.

Hey, thanks for this awesome article! I think that self reflection is super important and a great way to evaluate your image is to film yourself doing an ordinary day to day task, when you watch it back you might notice things about the way you hold yourself, your body language, eye contact etc etc. You also make a great point about habits; they are one of the most powerful tools we have! I once read that it takes around 3 weeks to develop a habit- is this true?

Hello Danny, glad you liked the article. I actually talk about building habits on my YouTube channel. As for does it take 21 days to build a habit, I do not think so. It can get easier after doing it for 21 days, but the most important day to focus on is today. To build a proper habit is a day by day process. If you focus on developing the skills to create new habits, the process can become relatively easy. I wish you luck in your journey Danny!
