Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. – Marianne Williamson

Surround Yourself With Those Who Empower

How good do you feel when you are around those who know your worth and capability? It is an amazing feeling right! If you need an instant boost in confidence surround yourself with those who will empower you. They will remind you of your strengths, and will stand by you when you have a goal to accomplish.

It is important for you to know how capable you are, and empowering people will lift you up with their spirits. Those who empower believe they are capable, and they also believe others around them are just as capable. Just like a plant that needs water for nourishment. People need those who will support and believe in them. So make sure you surround yourself with those who believe that you can achieve.

Remember Past Accomplishments

Take the time to look at some of your past accomplishments and remind yourself you are a capable person. Even the smallest victories started with taking the action.

What are some of your greatest past triumphs? Do you remember all the things you have accomplished before? I am sure you have many if you take the time to think about it. Learning to ride a bike, math, how to skate, how to swim. Anything that you can think of will do.

Whatever it is you learned how to do it, and you can learn how to do anything you put your mind to. That is true confidence. Knowing if you put the work in that you will learn it.

Set A Simple Task

Set a task that you know you can succeed in. The task can be as simple as you like. Just make sure it is something you can do right now. The reason for this is that having victories in life helps to build confidence is you are lacking in it.

Accomplish small task enough times and you will look for bigger and more challenging task to accomplish. Always remember the only difference between accomplishing easy task and the more complicated task is the time it takes to learn it. The rest of the process is still the same.

Being confident in your ability to accomplish the task is very important as well. If you succeed more often you will build strong momentum and self-worth. So when you do slip up you will just get back up and keep trucking, because in time you know that you will put it together.

Stand Tall

Sometimes one of the easiest things you can do is give off the aura of confidence. Proper posture and walking with confidence is huge for feeling confident.

Have you ever seen a person walk or speak when they do not feel confident in themselves. It is not pretty to watch, and they make it even worse for them self, because everyone can see it and feel it.

If you stand tall and believe it. Your mind will catch up and say. If this person believes they are confident then they must be confident.

Give it a try walk, talk, and act confidently.

Music

If you are not feeling confident at all, try listening to some of your favorite music. The right beat can make even the most weak feeling person feel empowered and capable.

Take your confidence to the next level with some of your favorite jams. Enjoy the beat and believe in the greatness that is within you.
